Math Incentive Program for Grades 25
Parents,
As I’m sure you’re aware, memorization of the basic math facts is critical to success in math. For the months of January and February, we are implementing an incentive program and concentrated daily practice to help gain proficiency. The basics of our reward system are outlined below. During the past five years, we’ve had tremendous results with a similar program. The 6th grade teachers have noticed the students from Turner Elementary are coming to them with a solid foundation for math success. Memorizing basic math facts NOW will pay huge dividends down the road and our kids will thank us later!
Thanks for the support,
Mr. Petersen
Here are the Mastery Areas, Standards, and Incentives for most* of our Grade 25 students. If you need assistance in ways to help/support at home please contact your child’s teacher.
