Did you know the Cloverdale Elementary students still eat meals in the basement of the original school?

Built in 1910, we love our historic country school! We've worked hard to expand and take care of the buildings over the years, but there are unique things to address with a historic building.

Our recent facility assessment took a close look at the condition and needs for Cloverdale, and this video shares the highlights.

Thank You Maintenance Crew!

Another day, another repair for our awesome maintenance crew!

When a window was broken at Cascade Junior High School, our team quickly removed and replaced the window. Thanks for keeping our buildings in shape!

Special Education Day

Cascade is highly regarded for our Special Education programs, and Tuesday was National Special Education Day!

The results speak for themselves. Our SPED graduation rates are 20% above the state average, with an 88.0% graduation rate for the class of 2024.

It's our amazing staff in all our schools who work hard to ensure every student in our Special Education program is loved and served well.

THANK YOU to our staff!

Aumsville Elementary Release Salmon

Wednesday was the day 4th graders at Aumsville Elementary released their salmon into the wild!

After raising salmon in their classrooms from the egg, learning about their lifecycle, today was the big day to set them free into Mill Creek at Porter Boone Park. These little fish will head downstream, eventually to the ocean, where they will hopefully grow big and strong before returning!

State Champion Football Team Visits Younger Students

Our Cascade High School undefeated championship football team celebrated their incredible season on Wednesday with a parade through each elementary school and the junior high, proudly escorted by our local first responders!

This celebration is not just a victory lap—it’s an opportunity for our athletes to inspire the next generation and show the younger students what lots of hard work and perseverance can bring about!

Turner Elementary Jog-a-thon Proceeds

Where does the money raised at a jog-a-thon go? At Turner Elementary, it goes to the kids!
Experiences and enrichment to education is a big piece of the pie, and is central to their commitment to educating the whole child.

From 1st grade going to Create a Memory, to the 5th grade creating art in downtown Turner, our community support through the jog-a-thon makes it all happen! Thank you!

Cloverdale Elementary History

Did you know the first teachers in the 1910-11 school year at Cloverdale Elementary were Hubert Starr and Mabel Baker?

This is one of many facts found in a history of Cloverdale school that was written in 1986 by Cloverdale's 3rd and 4th graders. Dave Boneck from the Yesterday in Turner historical society spent over 200 hours digitizing and colorizing a copy of the book, on loan from Laura Wipper. Thank you SO MUCH for preserving this history!

We love our historic country school!
