This past weekend Cascade High School had 6 musicians participate in various All State Honor Groups in Eugene Oregon!
Jackson Greufe, Gretchen Moll, and Tanner Liddell participated in the 9/10 and the 11/12 grade choirs respectively. They spent up to 12 hours a day over the three day weekend, to prepare 7 amazing songs with what is viewed as some of the most talented singers in the state of Oregon. They sang to packed houses and made the Cascade Choir Program very proud!
Sophia Ly, Lena Malthaner and Ciy McPherson all participated in the Symphonic Band with similar rehearsal schedules, talented musicians, and packed, successful performances!
Each student had to submit audition tapes in early November, receiving their music before Winter Break and were required to come into the weekend having learned everything on their own. You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.
These are dedicated musicians that represented our district with honor! Congrats to these young musicians!
